• Russia is unable to cut oil production sharply: Minister

Russia is not able to cut its oil production sharply, though it would try to do it faster, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak was quoted as saying by Interfax news wire on Thursday.

He said there are technological limitations for reducing oil output in Russia.

Earlier this week, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said Russia was cutting its oil production more slowly than expected.
